Energica Green Tourer Platform
An EMCE electric motor has been reengineered, battery chemistry has been revised, and a new chassis and frame design have been developed to reduce weight and improve balance and rideability. In the Energica Experia, a green tourer bike that is integrally designed to satisfy that purpose has been created from the bottom up.
Purpose-DRIVEN PERFORMANCE: new High-Tech platform.
The Experia gets a brand new motor and battery. The battery capacity has increased, and despite that has a lower weight, in addition to a lower center of gravity design that allows for better low-speed rideability. Experia has the huge battery capacity, bigger than any electric motorcycle, at 22.5 kWh maximum (19.6 kWh nominal). The battery pack can be charged from 0-80% in just 40 minutes at a Level 3 / DC Fast Charger at a top rate of 24 kW.
The redesigned PMASynRM motor EMCE (Synchronous Reluctance assisted by permanent magnets) is also lighter than its predecessors, with less mass, and is positioned lower than Energica’s other models.
Peak power is 75 kW (101 HP), torque pushing to 115 Nm (85 lb. ft.) and the top speed for the Energica Experia is 180 km/h (112 mph) – making it a great machine for everyday freeway riding.
