Giacomo LeoneEnergica Sales ROW Director, presented the Energica Experia to the German public after the company debut the Experia model earlier this year, talking about the change that the new green tourer can lead in the Electric motorcycle market.

Energica Experia is the answer to what the market of electric motorcycles was looking for a long time, namely an electric tourer that can be a concrete possibility for those looking for a bike that has all the advantages of an electric vehicle and, at the same time, enter the world of electric Tourer motorbikes

What’s New In The Experia Tourer?

An EMCE electric motor has been reengineered, battery chemistry has been revised, and a new chassis and frame design developed to reduce weight and improve balance and rideability.

The Experia received a brand new motor and battery. With increased battery capacity and despite that – lower weight. In addition, a design focused on a lower center of gravity allows for better low-speed rideability. Energica Experia has a huge battery capacity, bigger than any other electric motorcycle, at 22.5 kWh maximum (19.6 kWh nominal). The battery pack can be charged from 0-80% in just 40 minutes at a Level 3 / DC Fast Charger at a top rate of 24 kW.

The redesigned PMASynRM motor EMCE (Synchronous Reluctance assisted by permanent magnets) is also lighter than its predecessors, with less mass, and is positioned lower than Energica’s other models.

Peak power is 75 kW (101 HP), torque pushing to 115 Nm (85 lb. ft.) and the top speed for the Energica Experia is 180 km/h (112 mph) – making it a great machine for everyday freeway riding.
