This great piece of engineering, comes right out of Stockholm Sweden. CAKE motorcycles – The company has a central-EU office, as well as US offices – which is a great move for spreading their awesome product with high reach and scale. We love it.
From several models they offer, all with lower price tag than the Kalk OR, we wanted to give our review on one of their most existing off road model. It is definitely a top level electric motorcycle, and here’s their what Cake has to say about it:

We couldn’t agree more. But first off, let’s talk about design.
Cake motorcycle designers took a slick and smooth approach, giving their products clean lines and a functional design. It is noticeable that the gauges, the suspensions and even the battery and chassis are standard looking at first glance, but come together into a real thing of beauty.
The Cake Kalk OR comes with a price tag of $13,000 and packs a battery capable of 2.6kWh, and drive train of 11kW motor. That is some massive power considering it only weighs in at 152 lb (69kg), and it is pushing right about 42Nm peak torque on shaft / 280Nm on the bikes wheel. Great motor and battery combination and high quality craftsmanship from Cake.
The Kalk OR carries a 51.8 Volt , 50 Ah pack – that’s aesthetically fitted into the aluminum body, and welded Body Carbon fiber reinforced Swing arm. The battery will charge pretty fast, even when using a standard outlet – 0-80% takes 1,5 h. 0-100% takes 2,5 h to charge (both with a standard outlet)
Overall, it looks great and has great attention to details. A $13,000 price tag puts it in a reasonable and affordable spot in the competition space for offraod motorcycles. Especially for the bike you are getting and the ride and exhilaration it gives.
