Super Soco have several products in their line up, with the latest TC MAX being the strongest one, it still has a great price.
Super Soco motorcycles are manufactured in China, and being a Shanghai based company naturally means competitive prices. They have provided that so far with their previous models the TC, TS and others. With price ranges of $2,300 – $3,000 those were some of the most successful models in the UK for instance.
The TC MAX is priced in at $4,249, but as you would expect it has a specification that exceeds its predecessors. With a 3.2kWh battery pack, the TC Max pushes a great 180Nm of torque. That exceeds the even TCx model that was previously the strongest torque with 171Nm. The top speed is another factor that improved, though not by much with 60 mph (96kmh) compared to the TCx which got up to 56 mph (90kmh). Despite that – when you compare those to the more standard models, the TC and the TS – the increase is from 23 mph (only 45 kmh) – and that is a significant increase.
The range for the Super Soco models has been decent so far, and previous models that offered 80 miles (128km) of range, has put them in a good position within the category. They are indded good commuting machines, great for inner city drives, or just plain old fun ride. The TC MAX lacks slightly on that, being that it’s range is 68 miles (108km). It only takes 3.5 hours for a recharge using fast chargers, which is a while, but you will still be back on your way without too long of a wait.
The Super Soco designs have been spectacular, and they remain so on the TC MAX. With the great fairing look, you would never think this to be an ICE motorcycle, so the fact that it’s electric is immediately recognizable. Beyond that, Super Soco keeps to tradition on general design features like bars, forks, lights, fenders and more. They show respect to the old and simple, while putting their best into innovating this machine into a distinct all electric motorcycle.
