The DC100 by Davinci Dynamics China will launch in 2 days, as a performance café racer.
The DC100, A brand new high powered performance electric bike is announced by Davinci Dynamics. The sportive café racer is planned to be unveiled at an open-day by the Chinese company coming in just 2 days. The teaser shows off an aggressive looking design, for what they will soon launch as a high powered café racer.
The company has been working under the radar for the last 7 years, together with the technology institute of Tsinghua University to develop the motorcycle from scratch.
The company aims for the DC100 to rival a 1000cc class motorcycle, and this café racer has a peak power of 100.75 kW (137hp) and a peak torque of 850Nm.
The futuristic performance sportbike, is designed to allow riders to fully experience the joy of riding: simple design, delivering outstanding performance, and effortless handling.
The charging of DC100 motorcycle is powered by a ternary lithium battery pack with high energy density. The battery, compatible with high-voltage platforms and capable of high-rate charge/discharge, can use level 3 DC fast charges for a claimed 0-100% charge time of around 30 minutes.
Presented as a “wheeled robot”
Davinci Dynamics present this electric café racer as a “wheeled robot”, with an integrated control system that should improve stability, balance and optimize braking. The bike will also offer reverse assist and hill assist, but more details beyond that remain to be seen.
On the basis of the outstanding performance, DC100 is a wheeled robot that offers an optimized control experience. With the vehicle’s integrated control system, DC100 delivers instant acceleration at every twist, and a simple and optimal balance of braking for enhanced safety and control.
Unlike traditional motorcycle’s complexity control, DC100 combines reverse assist and hill assist – which ensures riders can reverse easily even on an incline and to optimize both balance and energy recovery.
This will put the DC100 at competition with the likes of the Zero SR/F or SR/S, as well the Energica sport bikes – both of them are models capable of producing 110hp and 147hp respectively. That actually makes the Davinci motorcycle at a higher output than the Zero.
