Ultraviolette Starts Delivering Its F77 High-Performance Electric Motorcycle

Ultraviolette F77 Takes the Streets: India’s High-Performance Electric Motorcycle Delivers Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser Variants

Indian-based electric vehicle company Ultraviolette has recently begun the deliveries of its F77 high-performance electric motorcycle. The first batch of the electric bikes has been handed over to its customers at the company’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.

The F77 electric motorcycle is a result of Ultraviolette’s relentless pursuit of creating an electric motorcycle that is a head-turner across all parameters. According to Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, “We cannot wait for customers across India to experience the F77, and we are deeply committed to taking the brand global.”

With the deliveries of the F77 underway, Ultraviolette is now looking to set up dealerships across India to make it easier for customers to purchase and get their bikes serviced. The company is also looking to expand its global presence by entering into new international markets where it sees a growing demand for performance electric motorcycles.

To support its next stages of growth, Ultraviolette is planning to raise $120 million in a fresh round of investment. The electric vehicle start-up plans to use these funds to fuel its global expansion plans and support the ongoing vehicle platform development efforts.

Since inception, Ultraviolette has raised over $55 million from investment companies such as Europe’s EXOR Capital, US-based Qualcomm Ventures, TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies, and Speciale Invest.

The F77 performance electric motorcycle is priced at ₹3.8 lakh (or about $4,650 USD, ex-showroom) and is available in three forms – Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser. Each of the forms comes in two variants – the F77 and the F77 Recon with an IDC Range of 206 km and 307 km respectively. Customers can book the bike via the company’s official website.

As we previously reported, Ultraviolette is also working on another electric bike platform, the F99 Factory Racing Platform, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023 in January, signaling the company’s foray into electric motorsports.

In conclusion, Ultraviolette has been building up to this moment of delivering the F77 electric motorcycle to its customers. With plans to expand globally and raise more funds, it is evident that the company has a bright future ahead in the electric vehicle industry.
