RGNT motorcycles brings a stylish retro look and strong specs for speed and range. Expected by Spring 2021.

The RGNT No.1 is a product of Swedish manufacturing. After launching their pre-orders in May, the motorcycle is expected to bring electric enthusiast a combination between retro motorcycle looks, with all digital aspects of connectivity and interface. A combination of ‘new and old’ into a high quality Sweden made bike. A real retro looking, part naked, part scrambler, and still entirely old-school style electric mototrycle.

RGNT motorcycles are based out of Stockholm and deliver across EU, as well as Norway and Switzerland. The company had first announced the RGNT No.1 prototype back in mid 2019, and was first expected to be launched before 2020 ends. As with many other projects in the electric space, RGNT also delayed their full launch and opened for pre-orders in May 2020, with expectations to deliver by spring 2021. We were able to confirm these delivery expectations with Lina Kanstrup, Global Marketing Director at RGNT. That means we can expect to see the first RGNT No.1 on European roads sometime by middle of next year.

RGNT Motorcycles, 2020

The motor on the No.1 model is a rear hub, 15 kW (20hp) motor, 8kW (11hp) nominal power. This brings power and speed to this 363lbs (165kg) bike, and gets a top speed of 75mph (120km/h). It’s motor power puts it at A1 license level for Europe. The battery pack holds 7.7kWh, 72V 80Ah, and gives a ride range of 75 miles (120 km). Charging time will take 8 hours from 0 – 100%.

The bike’s front suspension is a 35mm Ceriani replica, with 120 mm travel. Rear suspension is 340mm eye to eye adjustable spring pre-load. Rear wheel – 18×2.15” – Excel takasago, Avon Roadrider 4,10*18, and front – 18×1,85” – Excel takasago, Avon Roadrider tires 90/110-18”. Both chromed steel rim.

Brake systems are four piston calipers – from ISR 275 mm diameter, 4 mm thickness stainless steel brake discs, and two piston caliper – 220mm disc rear 3mm thickness.
