On Their YT channel, KYMCO has been releasing teasers ahead of their 26th of November event, and this time with an electric model.
“It’s time to excite”, that’s the title of the video teasers by KYMCOon their YT channel recently. With the first video uploaded a week ago, Nov 9th, with a brief 20 seconds and not much exposing. The second video came in shortly after, on Nov. 16th, but that only teased on their slingshot 3-wheel scotter, which is an ICE model. Then, at last, three days ago, the electric teaser came.
The Taiwan based KYMCOhas already presented an awesome model of their electric SuperNEX sportbike, in EICMA Milar in 2018, and this will be their third electric motorcycle in their large format bikes.
In what is a very short teaser, with lots of interesting fast frame switches, here’s what we caught on to in the KYMCO electric model: It is a scooter, but a maxi-scooter, with a big bulky battery on it. The motor is a mounted with the rear swingarm, and it uses a belt drive. We noticed a rear monoshock, and what looks to be a front inverted fork. Really nice seating and excellent design lines as always in KYMCO models. It also has a big “F9” lettering on the sides, which could only be guessed to be the name for this exciting model.
