Indian just redesigned their champ model – FTR750 into an electric FTR-Jr, a mini-ebike for fun at an early age.

Entering the electric two wheel game with a Junior model is an interesting choice. Indian motorcycles, one of many Polaris divisions, has announces this great re-do of the FTR750 into a junior model that stays true to the championship winner.

The eFTR Jr was made for a riding experience that helps teach kids how to ride. eFTR Jr has an audience base of kids 8 years and older, and carries a maximum weight of 175 pounds.

The battery is a 36-volt that can run for 140 minutes in low mode. When the kid is secure enough to go to high mode, it will still run a ride of 65 minutes. Top that with some cool features like great suspension, front and back, front and rear disk brakes, which is important for safety as well as a mimic exhaust. Looks so cool your kid wouldn’t want to get off. This type of fun only costs $750, and the experience for the kid is definitely priceless.

We love the overall look of this, and as said – it’s Indian’s first model, but we surely hope not the Last. Hope to see some all grown up models coming out, wouldn’t you?
