HVR Presents The 65PRO Electric MX For Youth

HVR 65PRO

High Voltage Racing (HVR), present the 65PRO, an MX electric bike for riders 8-13.

HVR presents the latest edition, the 65PRO, to their electric bike line up. High Voltage Racing (HVR) is a Germany based company, with origins in motocross and enduro. The company now offers the 50.4, 60.4 and the latest 65PRO electric MX bikes for young riders.

Compared to their 60.4 previous youth bike model, which has been available for some time, the 65PRO has a completely redeveloped drive train with a new, more powerful motor and a battery almost twice as large, and now also a removeable pack.

The new 65PRO also has similar oil cooling systems as its predecessor models, which allows heat dissipation for the motor without additional coolers, and a peak power of 13.5kW (approx. 18.5hp) can be called upon at any time.

The newly developed battery provides 1.7 kWh. The battery can now be changed on the track in a few minutes. Although it is secured with 4 bolts in the frame, it can easily be removed, while it remains securely attached under riding load.

The motor’s torque of 35 Nm drives to the rear wheel boasted by an AFAM MX2G chain, but the 65PRO can be fully adjusted in terms of performance, speed, engine braking and response behavior through the HVR Connect app.

The suspension is also brand new, at the front of the 65PRO – a fully adjustable FastAce USD fork with a stanchion diameter of 35mm and a travel of 210mm, at the rear – a new FastAce shock absorber adjustable for rebound, compression (both high and low speed), spring preload, and with variable length.

The fork is held by a light CNC machined triple clamp. The frame has also reduced weight compared to the 60.4 with a new design. The seat height can be varied from approx. 760mm up to 830mm. That’s a properly sized youth-bike to grow along with your young rider.

A double-piston caliper bites into a 220mm wave brake disc at the front, while a single piston system with a 178mm disc comes into play at the rear. Featured as standard is the new, much more stable foot brake lever, but a left-side hand brake lever can be ordered at no additional cost.

The price of the 65PRO in Germany is €5390 including shipping. And with a moto of announcing new models when they are ready and being delivered, HVR did not take months ahead of market launch and the 65PRO bike are already being delivered.
