HUSQVARNA Motorcycles Launches Kids Electric Balance Bikes For 2021

While we wish to see more news from Husqvarna on a potential E-Pilen, or even another motocross model, Husqvarna decided to go for another type of electric 2-wheeler, and it looks like a great ride for your little ones.

Some cool news for your kid riders, in a partnership between Husqvarna and STACYC™, the companies will offer youth electric driven balance bikes. The bikes will come in varied sizes for 3-5-year-old, or 4-8-year old youngsters with their 12eDrive and 16eDrive models.

Learning to ride from a young age is a great advantage, young riders have great instincts and learning curve. When starting at a young age, a kid will develop great hand-eye coordination, balance and throttle control.

So what will they have? three selectable power modes , as well as a non-powered coast mode, with a run-time of up to 60 minutes. 12 or 16 inch wheels and 33/43 cm seat height. Both Husqvarna Motorcycles Replica STACYC™ models allow younger riders to safely progress at their own pace.

The 12eDrive, is for 3-5-year-old riders. With the very important coast mode, where no power is transmitted to the back wheel, and a 33 cm seat height, it has 12-inch wheels, making it the right size and with the right options for first time training. Once mastering coast mode, one of the three power modes can be selected, allowing riders to progress at pace while learning throttle control. The 12eDrive is capable of 8, 11 or 14 km/h.

For taller or more confident 4-8-year old youngsters, the 16eDrive features a more powerful, high-output brushless motor, with three power selection modes that allow riders to reach 8, 12 and 21 km/h. With an aluminum chassis, 43 cm seat height and larger 16-inch wheels.

Husqvarna Motorcycles Replica 12eDrive and 16eDrive models will start being available at authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers from February 1st, 2021. Both models are also available in the US.
