Horwin Presents the SENMENTI O and SENMENT X models at EICMA 2022. The two new models take a whole new approach to the battery-motor-controller layout, introducing advanced technologies like Dynamic Driving Assistance, Scene Recognition to detect surrounding objects and body stance during riding and even Sentry mode (similarly to Tesla’s).
With these two new models, Horwin takes a technology driven approach, with a large number of sensors, allowing the company to utilize this sensory data and create an optimized ride, from motor optimization, to battery output optimization and all the way through to a fully ‘assisted driving’ AI platform.
After 6 years of research and development, Horwin decided to abandoned the structural layout of traditional motorcycles and the traditional split-type layout of battery, motor and controller in the overall vehicle structural layout through the core technology concept of “improving efficiency and reducing consumption”, and broke the impossible triangle with the “IM integrated intelligent chassis” developed by Horwin itself.
That’s how SENMENTI O and SENMENTI X were born. Horwin set over 30 sensors in the SENMENTI O, and at the same time, it uses automotive level domain control technology to reach high-speed computing, judgment and decision-making, forming an intelligent platform integrating data collection, analysis and automatic decision-making.
Similarly to the Tesla Self-Driving AI, Horwin utilizes data flow from a large number of sensors, to create an efficient decision making AI that can assist the rider.
At EICMA Horwin will display IM integrated intelligent chassis, self-balancing technology (two-wheeled dynamic driving assistance technology), SENMENTI 0, SENMENTI X, and launch mobile life laboratory at Hall 24Q – Stand A70.
