Fantic Goes Electric: Venetian Brand Unveils New E-Scooter Model

Italian Fantic Motor expands lineup with new electric scooter, Available for Purchase in February.

Fantic, the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer known for its off-road and enduro bikes, as well as its popular Caballero scrambler range, recently unveiled several exciting new models at EICMA 2022. Among the debutants was the Caballero 700, which is powered by the iconic Yamaha CP2 parallel-twin engine.

However, the brand also has its sights set on the future of urban mobility with its electric model range. At EICMA, Fantic also revealed the Issimo 45 moped and the TX 2 scooter. But most notably, the company launched a new simple urban scooter called the Electric. This new model is set to hit showroom floors by February 2023, and is set to appeal to those looking for a practical and stylish mode of transportation in the city.

The Fantic Electirc comes featuring an exposed aluminum frame, the Electric rolls on 16-inch wheels, resulting in a smooth and comfortable ride on a variety of road surfaces. Additionally, the scooter comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes for increased safety.

Under the hood, the Electric packs a punch with its 3-kilowatt motor from Dell’Orto, which generates up to four horsepower and a top speed of 28 mph. The 2.2-kilowatt-hour battery pack, which can be upgraded to a 4.4-kilowatt-hour capacity as an optional extra, can provide a range of up to 62 miles.

The Electric comes with a range of advanced features, including keyless ignition, a USB charger, and an underseat storage compartment. For even more utility, a top case can be added as an optional extra. The five-inch display also doubles as an instrument cluster and offers Bluetooth connectivity.

Available in a variety of vibrant colors, the L1 version of the Electric has a list price of 3,990 Euros, and is expected to hit showrooms by February 2023. While the L3 version is set to be available in May,2023. Pricing for this version has yet to be announced.
