CAKE Partners with M- Volvo Car Mobility, To Mobilize The Servicing Of Their Car Fleet In Sweden.

CAKE announces partnership with M- Volvo Car Mobility, with the CAKE Ösa utility bike chosen to mobilize the servicing of their car fleet used by 150,000 customers in Sweden.

CAKE announces a new partnership with the mobility company Volvo Car Mobility for mobilizing the servicing of its car-sharing service, named simply “M”.

The first step in this partnership entails the introduction of the CAKE Ösa utility bike with integrated power, into M’s fleet service operations in Stockholm. This move comes as part of Volvo Car Mobility’s plan of achieving sustainability goals by reducing operational emissions. It also supports the company’s targets when it comes to reducing emissions and traffic congestion in urban centers.

M – Volvo Car Mobility, an independent subsidiary of the Volvo Car Group, provides a smart mobility rental service called M, operated across major cities in Sweden (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Uppsala, trollhättan and Kungälv). The company offers individuals and businesses on-demand access to a car, without having to own one.

The core value for Volvo Car Mobility and its sharing service, M, is moving people sustainably.  So far, M has 150,000 registered users and would deploy the Ösa bike, a great utility electric motorcycle with customization options all over. The extensive reach, parking agility, the ability to load cleaning equipment, as well as a powerful battery that can run a vacuum cleaner. All told, this is a great example of clean efficiency.

The M car-sharing service leverages an accessibility model, which aims to match supply to customer demand at every given moment. The goal is to save time, space, and money – for people and for the cities they inhabit.
