The UBCO 2×2 Special Edition: A Closer Look at Its Features and Capabilities
UBCO announce the release of its 2×2 Special Edition electric motorcycle. While some may initially dismiss the Special Edition as a mere cosmetic upgrade of the standard 2×2 model, closer inspection reveals a wealth of new and improved features on this all terrain electric bike.
Most notably, the UBCO 2×2 Special Edition comes equipped with two detachable, weatherproof bags. The bags, color-matched to the bike’s striking green and electric orange color scheme, are designed to allow riders to transport their belongings with ease. The bags are expandable, with the rear bag boasting foldaway panels that enable riders to transport larger, flatter items than they might otherwise have been able to. Furthermore, the bags are designed to keep their contents dry and protected, no matter what the weather might throw at them.
In addition to the bags, the UBCO 2×2 Special Edition also comes with a new Peak Design phone mount and a set of Pronghorn straps from Giant Loop. These straps allow riders to secure additional items to the bike, enabling them to take more of their belongings with them on their journey.
Technical Specs and changes:
UBCO has also made a number of technical improvements to the 2×2 Special Edition. The braking system has been completely redesigned, with the new system now featuring motorcycle-grade braking pads and more durable brake levers. This should give riders greater control and maneuverability over their bike and help to ensure their safety on the road.
Other technical specifications of the 2×2 Special Edition remain largely the same as the standard model. The bike boasts a top speed of 30mph/50kph, with a 156-pound curb weight and a claimed range of 75 miles on a single charge. The bike’s battery pack is 3.1 kilowatt-hours, and it comes with a fast charger that can recharge the battery in four to six hours.
Only 1,000 units of the Special Edition will be produced, and each bike will be numbered. The MSRP for the Special Edition is set at $6,999, excluding tax.
